Krylon 5150 is a matte clear coat that you can use on your dekes.

Krylon makes a flat clear.
Also Testors Dull coat works well.

I use the Krylon Flat clear most of the time, but sometimes I use Krylon Matte.
If you use the matte, do thin coats and let them dry well before adding another coat. this will cut down on the sheen/shine. Also, if they have a little sheen/shine, leave them in the sun a couple days or rub them down with an old burlap sack. That'll make 'em less "shiney".

Do not clear coat them on really humid days.  I did some back in the summer and the high humidity made the clear coat have a foggy white color in places.

A bad day in the blind beats a good day at work.
